This article is about a function from ApCoCoA-1.

Fn.LogN

Returns the logarithm to a given base with a given accuracy.

Syntax

Fn.LogN(Base:RAT,Val:RAT,Acc:INT):RAT

Description

This function returns the logarithm of Val to the base Base rounded to the given accuracy Acc.

  • @param Base The base to which to compute the logarithm.

  • @param Val The value of which to compute the logarithm.

  • @param Acc The desired accuracy.

  • @return The logarithm of Val to the base Base rounded to accuracy Acc.

Example

R := Fn.LogN(3,27, 30);
Dec(R, 40);
