I'd say there should be a kind of process how somebody (including somebody completly unknown to us) can make contributions to the library, e.g.
- reporting bugs
- adding examples / documentation
- contribute bugfixes
- adding new functions / classes
- doing anything else
this is not jet very concrete, but michael mentioned he wants to add cocoa to some linux distributions, etc.pp + the GBLing of the lib could lead to this...
